You-Mix-It-Up is an experiential, in-home direct selling party experience, that introduces new products and emphasizes creating a fun atmosphere to teach basic bartending and mixology. Our team of independent Mix-It-Reps will train how to set up and stock home bars of varying degrees of seriousness, as well as cover different scenarios of cocktail entertaining – from temporarily taking over your friend’s kitchen for a house party, to grabbing the reins at a fully-equipped bar. And of course, we will teach you how to prepare some basic, ever-pleasing libations for these occasions through hands-on preparation and education. If you‘re looking to expand your cocktail-making repertoire? Step behind the bar (or table) with our Mix-It Rep and learn how to craft your own original cocktails from nearly any ingredient. After a quick primer on basic bar techniques, current cocktail trends and the science behind the perfect flavor combinations, you’ll be let loose to create your own unique libations from a veritable cornucopia of spirits, mixers, fresh fruits, juices, herbs, and spices while your Mix-It Rep guides you on your way to perfecting your technique. Plus, you’ll be able to purchase all the equipment so you too can Mix-It Up for your friends and relatives! Participants will leave armed with a no-fail recipe list and a short set of directions and new skills for preparing basic cocktails with confidence and ease.
